Home Birth Care Package

At Parteria 7 Generations Midwifery, our Home Birth Package is designed to offer personalized, compassionate care for families wanting to birth in the comfort of their own home. We provide comprehensive support throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum period, ensuring that you and your family feel empowered, nurtured, and respected every step of the way.

Our Home Birth Package includes:

​

Prenatal Care:

  • Our care schedule includes monthly visits until 28 weeks, bi-monthly visits until 36 weeks, and weekly visits until your due date, with bi-weekly visits for postdate pregnancies.

  • Each visit includes a comprehensive medical history review, physical examination, and lab work as needed.

  • For you, we offer assessments that include vital signs, screenings, nutritional counseling, and preventative care.

  • For your baby, we monitor fetal heart tones, assess fetal growth and position, and check amniotic fluid levels through gentle belly checks.

  • We provide holistic education, emotional support, and self-care practices throughout your pregnancy, empowering you to make informed decisions.   

  • Referrals to other appropriate providers are also available to ensure you have all the resources you need.

Labor and Birth Support: 

  • From 37 weeks onward, we are on-call for you 24/7

  • We will provide phone access during early labor

  • When labor becomes active, we will join you at home, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support.

  • A certified birth assistants (NRP certified) will be assist me at all times.

  • We will ensuring your safety with non-disruptive, intermittent maternal and fetal monitoring.

  • We will we encouraged to follow your intuitive birthing instincts, when needed and desire guidance will be provided. 

  • We can provide an inflatable birth pool (additional charge).

  • Emergency medications and equipment are always on-site.

​Immediate Postpartum Care: 

  • We will honor the safe and non-disruptive birth of your placenta.

  • We will provide a thorough vaginal exam, providing repairs if necessary.

  • We will honor your Golden Hour with immediate skin-to-skin contact, delayed cord clamping, and support for breastfeeding initiation and lactation.

  • Following the Golden Hour we will perform a thorough newborn exam with routine newborn medications available if desired.

  • Our birth team will stay for a minimum of three hours postpartum to ensure your well-being, and providing postpartum care instructions

  • We will clean up the birth site, leaving no mess behind.

 

​​​Postpartum Visits:

  • Our postpartum care includes both in-person and virtual clinical health assessments for you and your baby at 24-48 hours, week 1, week 2, week 4, week 6, month 3, month 6, one year.

  • Each visit features individualized screenings for you and your baby as needed, including a newborn physical examination, along with ongoing lactation education and support.

  •  Our care also includes postpartum wellness education, nutritional counseling, and guidance on newborn care.

  • Newborn screenings, including metabolic screening during our 24-48 visit and CCHD heart health screening at birth and 2 days, and hearing screen at our 1 week visit.
